The Blanket Stitch Beanie is a confident beginner / intermediate knitting pattern. It is made in the round from the bottom up using 5.00mm 40cm circular needles. Magic loop method or DPNs can be used for the shaping of the crown.

There are two adult sizes: S/M (for head sizes approx 21-23.5 inches) and M/L (for head sizes 24+ inches).

Materials and tools needed:

115 (130) metres of a worsted AND lace weight yarn held together, or 115 (130) metres of an aran yarn.

1.5 metres of worsted or aran yarn for the blanket stitch detail.

5.00mm 40cm circular needles, and 5.00mm 80cm OR 5.00mm DPNs.

5 stitch markers.

1 darning needle.
