This is Blaze the Dragon. He may come across as hot-headed, but his friends will tell you he’s warm and snugly inside. Keep scrolling to learn how to make him with my free crochet dragon pattern.

This chubby, little dragon is made using continuous rounds. He measures almost 12 inches from his butt to the tops of his ears. But this could vary if you choose to use a different hook or yarn than I did, or depending on how you stuff it. I recommend stuffing it firmly.

Materials

• size 5 or F crochet hook
• scissors
• needle for weaving in ends
• yarn for the body (I used Mainstays Basic Yarn in Red)
• yarn for the horns (I used Red Heart With Love Metallic in White)
• yarn for the wings (I used Red Heart With Love Metallic in Black)
• fiberfill for stuffing
• safety eyes in two sizes ( a large size for the eyes and a small size for the nostrils)
