Bless Cardigan Kids
This cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down.
First the back panel is worked from the neck to the underarm. Then the right and left front panels are worked seperately, by picking up stitches from each shoulders. These three panels are joined at the underarm, and the body is worked back and forth. The sleeves are worked in the round from the armholes, and the button band is worked from the end of the right front neck edge.
This is a Hanbok-style knit cardigan (Hanbok is a traditional Korean costume).
For a long time in Korea, when making a childs Hanbok by hand, there has always been a big wish for the child
s well-being.
Bless!
With a heart that blesses the birth of a small life and wishes for happiness, I hope you enjoy knitting this cardigan and it brings you happiness as well :)
