Blitzen Mittens
For the 2024 edition of Biscotte Yarns Advent Calendar, I wanted to write a pattern for mittens with an arched gusset. This type of construction adds visual interest and improves the fit and comfort of the mittens.
…
I accentuated its unique design by adding ribbing to the slipped stitches. Knitted with Albus yarn and lined with Kid Silk, Blitzen’s mittens are soft, warm, and ultra-comfortable. Since an advent calendar is supposed to bring joy and excitement every day leading up to Christmas, I hope you’ll agree that I’ve accomplished my mission!
