These gorgeous socks feature an unusual butterfly look cable that caught my imagination for several months (see my Rime’s the Reason collection).

The pattern includes 4 sizes and can be made to fit any foot length. The cable pattern pattern extends down the heel, partially around the foot, and completely to the toe–so there are no jarring visual breaks. The toe is particularly interesting as the decreases are incorporated into cable pattern and become practically invisible.

Both written and charted directions are provided.

As an aside, I would like to advise you to NOT wear your finished socks in a snow drift as I did for this photo. Not only is it bloody cold, but snow clumped socks are incredibly slippery and embarrassing falls can result. Ask me how I know…
