Description
The BLM-Bogolan Scarf is a long, drapey knitting pattern of a tube with tapered ends and pom-pom accessories that includes a BLM duplicate stitch chart and a mudcloth fair isle chart. Knit up a fun way to do some simple colorwork and to honor and celebrate Blackness.

Be sure to have some scrap yarn and a crochet hook to do a provisional cast-on.

Sizing
This is a one size fits all (adult) design. Finished scarf (flattened tube) measures 97” in length (not including pom-poms) and 6” in width.

For a longer/shorter scarf, I’d recommend adjusting the length of the plain knitting between the BLM duplicate stitch section and the mudcloth fair isle section. Another option is to add/remove repeats of the mudcloth fair isle pattern.

Yarn
Any 2 colors of bulky weight yarn works for this scarf. You will need about 30-40 more yards of color A than color B
