Block 10 of 12 of the Celebration Blanket by Ewe Ewe Yarns

Designed by Nancy Queen of NobleKnits.com

As Heather’s sister and a fellow knitting entrepreneur, I have the pleasure of working with her in the yarn world! We run separate businesses but somehow they always seem intertwined. I chose this pattern because it reminds me of our relationship – at first glance, the colors look woven together but when the pattern is knit, only one color is worked at a time while the other color sits patiently waiting for their turn to shine. Cheers to 10 years!

Finished size: 14” x 14” (35.5 x 35.5 cm) after light blocking

Yarn: Ewe Ewe Yarns, Wooly Worsted, 95 yards per 50g skein, 100% merino wool superwash yarn, #4 worsted weight

Needles: US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles

Supplies: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, locking stitch marker (optional), row counter (optional)

Gauge: 17 sts to 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch worked flat, after blocking.
