This pattern was designed for the Yarniverse September 2019 subscription box.

These socks are worked from the cuff down, beginning with the German twisted cast on method. After completing the cuff, work immediately begins on the heel, using heel flap and gusset construction. From there the foot is worked and the sock is finished by grafting the toe closed using the kitchener stitch technique.

YARN
Poppy Shop Sock/Fingering.
85% superwash merino, 25% nylon; approx.437 yards (400 m) per 3.5 oz (100 g) skein; 1 skein.

32 stitches and 40 rounds = 4” (10 cm) in checkered ribbing knit in the
round and blocked.
