I love bags. I was knitting purses with lovely cable designs and twisted stitch designs but the finished item always needed to be lined to be truly usable. Then I discovered felting. My first design was a shoulder “spare pocket”, just big enough for keys and phone. Next I went big and knit a monster carryall. I then settled down to create project bags for all my unfinished objects. Many sizes and shapes later, I found my square. It is just right for a pair of socks or lace project and it sits so nicely right next to me while I am working. I always place a pocket (or two) in my projects, to keep things organized. Mosaic knitting and felting are a wonderful combination for creating a totally unique object.
