Blomstring Slipover is a fun and satisfying knit with a boxy shape that is easy to adjust with ties in the sides. It’s knit on larger needles with worsted weight yarn making it a quick project and also beginner friendly. The pattern includes video tutorials for the embroidery and more specific details.

Blomsting means bloom in Danish and celebrates the wild meadows and lush flower garderns where i live. The slipover is a perfect transition piece to wear over dresses or a tee for those fresh spring days, chilly summer evenings and crisp fall mornings.*

Construction: The slipover is knit flat in 2 pieces (bottom up) that are then grafted at the shoulders. It has a boxy shape and the back is slightly longer than the front. The front piece has flowers that are made from both knitting and sewing. Stitches are picked up for the neck ribbing and the shoulders are folded for a soft hem. The slipover is held together with bows on each side.
