The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn (to match the Bloomfield Top and the Bloomfield Tee). If, however; you would like to knit the skirt with DK weight yarn (gauge: 27x36 to match the Bloomfield V-neck Vest as seen in picture no. 13&14), use 4 mm needles and work 1 set of hip increases instead of the original 2 or knit one size smaller (for example, knit size 1 on 4 mm needles to get the measurements of size 2). The skirt knit on 4 mm needles would also create a set with the Bloomfield Sweater, the Bloomfield Round Neck Cardigan or the Bloomfield V-neck Cardigan.
