This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Sherry Krzyzowski.

This hat is knit in the round, starting from the brim of the hat. A crochet cast on is recommended, and full instructions for how to work this cast on (not provisionally) are included in the pattern. This hat was inspired by a trip to Bloomingdales and a knitter looking at a $50 hat thinking “I could make that!”. Now you can make yourself a $50 hat! :) Decreases are built into the pattern and are nearly imperceptible at the crown. A pompom can be added to top it off, or omitted. Knitter’s choice!
