What frog prince could resist a fair maiden bedecked with a water lily to keep him from being homesick for the pond he left behind? This three-dimensional flower tops a beret in multiple sizes. The petals are shaped with short rows and take advantage of stockinette’s curl to attain their naturalistic shape. Use worsted weight yarns in white and pale pinks for a more demure blossom, purpley-blues for the mysterious Egyptian blue lotus, or have fun coloring your own fantasy flower.
