Blossomfield is a crescent-shaped top-down shawl featuring a squishy garter stitch body paired with a pretty petal lace. Knitted with two monochromatic skeins of Dingo Dyeworks Ridgy-Didge Softies fingering weight yarn; the dark tonal skein is used for the garter section, and the light tonal skein is used for the lace section and picot edge.

Both written and charted instructions are provided for the lace section.

Yarn
Dingo Dyeworks Ridgy-Didge (85% Merino Wool, 15% Nylon; 437 yards/400 metres per 3.5 oz/100 grams).
Approximately 400 yards of each Colour A and Colour B.
The sample is shown in the Softies Set - Granny Smith, 2 skeins; Colour A - Dark, Colour B - Light.

Needles & Notions
US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needles, 32 inches/80 cm or longer, to accommodate the large number of stitches; Stitch markers (optional).

Gauge
17 stitches and 38 rows per 4 inches/10 cm in garter stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial but a different gauge will alter the finished size, drape and amount of yarn required.
