Boucle is a wonderful yarn that many pass up thinking that it’s too hard to work with. Others already know the beauty it can produce! I took on the challenge with crocheting with it and tried various stitches and hooks, and had great fortune, learning that Boucle is a super soft, affordable yarn. It can make many additions to your wardrobe as well as flowers for embellishments, and even garments once you get really used to it. I have quite a few Boucle patterns since I came to love working with it!

The trick to using it well is learning to feel the stitches while knowing where they are, to be sure not to miss any. You never know what wonders you’ll discover with crochet if you’ll just try and at least see what happens. If you don’t, you’ll never know what you might be missing that could have been one of your favorite parts of crochet & you might be missing out on some fantastic crochet!
