This cardigan is my new favourite, I have it in my wardrobe in both versions, 3/4 sleeves (pictured) and with cuffs for colder weather. The yarn used is a stunning fingering weight yarn, merino/silk/cashmere blend from Louie & Lola Yarns, colour Fern.

It is knitted sideways starting from the middle of the back in a relatively simple stitch that resembles garter stitch. The sleeves have a dropped stitch lace motif that is also present on the back.

Whilst the form is flowing and flattering for any body shape, it doesn’t slip off the shoulders due to the ribbed neck band. Any type of shawl pin can be used to close it or it can be worn open. The width of the sleeves and the length of the cardigan can be altered by choosing one of the 3 options of cast on number of stitches.
