Blue Magic is a two-color triangular shawl worked in linen stitch. Fingering weight yarn is worked on a larger hook to create fabric with a nice drape, and the density of the stitch pattern makes for a warm, cushy shawl. The shawl is finished with a simple, delicate lace edging. The pattern is written using American crochet terms and has both a chart and written instructions for the edging. This pattern was tech edited by Chaitanya Muralidhara.

A supplemental document has been added with guidelines on how to make a scrappy faded version of the Blue Magic shawl. This is not an additional pattern but includes tips on how to make a shawl like the scrappy version pictured on the pattern page.
