Blue Wave Hat with Optional Secret Messages

This hat will fit most people, from big kids through adults as it is a stretchy pattern. I have included instructions for DK and Worsted weight yarn.

I am hoping for a Blue Wave in the next election

Living in a very RED area of rural Minnesota, I was inspired to make my own protest hat that wouldn’t get me harassed as I walked around town.

The blue wave is clear to those in the know, while subtle enough to pass unnoticed by red leaning neighbors.

The two dotted lines above and below the wave can be used to encode a secret message in Morse Code.

I have attached several options and a Morse Code page at the end for creating your own messages.

It is my very first published pattern, so I appreciate feedback, especially if you find any mistakes or anything that is unclear.
