Blue Whale Fisherman Beanie
My husband is afraid of the heat, and welcomes the cold anytime from all seasons. However, when we are travelling in the winter season, it is always a good idea to protect ourselves from the cold too. I decided to knit a fisherman beanie just enough to cover the top of his head. He loves it!
The name blue whale comes from the colour of the yarn I used which shows the whale’s true blue colour when under water. This beanie is made with light spot bums to mimic its slightly spotted upper body texture.
The beanie is worked bottom up on a 4mm (US 6) 40 cm / 16” circular needle with 100% wool yarn.
