Blueberry Bandana came about as a quick and easy stash-busting project to keep my hands busy for a couple of weeks. This lightweight bandana uses lace/fingering weight yarn and a light worsted weight yarn. It features a loose stockinette stitch fabric with i-cord edges.

Made to be easy for any beginner, with video demonstrations for key steps, it is knitted flat with simple increases to shape the bandana as you go. The i-cord edging is worked afterwards.

This bandana can be knitted in animal-fibre yarns for autumn and winter or plant-based yarns for summer, making it a year-round accessory!

Gauge
Lace/Fingering Weight Yarn on 5mm needles (US 8): 10 x 10 cm = 20 sts x 25 rows in stockinette stitch

Light Worsted Weight Yarn on 3.5mm needles (US 4): 10 x 10 cm = 22 sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch

If your gauge is not perfect (meaning off by a couple of stitches), don’t worry! This is an accessory, so it won’t make a huge difference.
