Here we have a lovely, simple cardigan. Knit in stockinette stitch with a wide garter stitch hem and cuffs, it will quickly become a wardrobe staple.

It’s knit from the top down with a wide neckline and raglan sleeves that end at the elbow.

This sweater is intended to fit with 2-4” (5-10 cm) positive ease (meaning the sweater should be 2-4” (5-10 cm) larger than your actual body measurements). See schematic for finished measurements.

You’ll need 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 6) skeins of Toby Roxane Designs Polwarth DK (100% superwash Polwarth wool; 252 yds/230 m per 100g).
