This simple pattern makes a nice wide, long, plump scarf that is fun and easy to knit, and will delight the wearer with its warmth. Perfect for showing off your favorite Round Mountain Fibers colorway and a coordinating semisolid. Choose a coordinating semisolid for a subtle look, or a contrasting semisolid for a bolder look.

Difficulty:

Beginner! All you need to know how to do is cast on, knit, and bind off. No purling necessary! You will want to learn how to carry a yarn along the side of your project. This is not difficult, and you can find tutorials online that explain how to carry your yarn up the side of your project. If you are fortunate enough to have a Local Yarn Shop near you, that is your best resource! Ask your shop owner how to carry yarn up the side of your project.

Yarn:
Three 100g skeins of Round Mountain Fibers Willow Worsted (185 yds per skein):
Two semisolid and one colorway.

Sample is knit up in 2 skeins of ‘Jay Green’, and 1 skein of ‘Bluegill’.
