This beanie requires intermediate knitting skills. The stranded colourwork pattern is worked over a 6-stitch, 14-round repeat. There are two colour options for knitting this beanie. In the three colour beanie, the stranded colourwork is on a background of 8-round stripes in two alternating colours. In the two colour beanie, the stranded colourwork is on a single colour background.

Finished beanie circumference approx 46 (48, 51, 53, 55) cm/18 (19, 20, 21, 21¾) ins depending on yarn used and tension achieved
Finished depth approx 21 (22, 22, 23, 23) cm/8¼ (8¾, 8¾, 9, 9) ins
It is intended to be worn with approx 4-6cm/1½-2¼ins negative ease.

This beanie has been made in several different 8 ply/DK yarns. The quantities required may vary depending on the yarn chosen. Included are 50g ball quantities and approx meterage (guide only).

There are two colourwork tensions included to allow for variations in yarn and to help you choose the most suitable size to make.
