This pattern is available for free.

This is a free pattern for a cabled thermal headband. The ends are connected with Kitchener stitch/grafting for a seamless look, and as a result, it is necessary to do a provisional cast on.

I used some ancient scrap yarn for the sample piece so I chose Berroco Vintage DK as a yarn I think would be suitable. Please explore different yarns to suit your fancy, especially because dimensions are pretty flexible for this piece.

Please cater the pattern to fit your own head size. Measure your head and then subtract 1 inch (2 cm) and knit to that size. This way the yarn will stretch to your head and will be tight enough to stay on your head.
