Boat or Crew Neckline Sweater by Barbara Drews

Boat or Crew Neckline Sweater

This pattern allows you to select the stitch you’d like. Using 5 measurements label a,b,c,d,e, one determines the size of 6 rectangles that create the sweater.

Some calculating is necessary.
The crocheter needs to know:
a. How long from should to hem
b. How wide should the neckline be
c. How wide from outer edge of neckline to sleeve beginning
d. How long are the sleeves
e. How wide are the sleeves

With these measurements and a swatch, the crocheter must calculate stitches per inch.
