A fun stitch with no purls and only one colour per row !

Make the scarf any width/length you like (see yardage suggestions below).

Instructions are both charted and written so that you can work the way YOU like.

The pattern is listed as DK, but you could also use sport or worsted.

Choose 2 yarns with good contrast - for extra impact one of the yarns can be self-striping, handspun or variegated.

This is a flexible pattern. You can adjust both the width and length to suit your taste and/or available yardage.

For a 6”/15cm wide scarf, allow the following yardage:

for 44”/110cm length - allow 100m/110yds of each of the 2 yarns
for 60”/150cm length - allow 150m/165yds of each of the 2 yarns
for 70”/180cm length - allow 200m/220yds of each of the 2 yarns
