The minion measures approximately 12in in circumference and 9in from head to toe.
This pattern includes sowing, intarsia, working in the round, and working flat. This pattern also uses the twisted stitch in the headband (link in pattern) but this is optional and can be changed if desired.
The yardage and gauge are both dependent on the size needles and yarn you use. This pattern does not have specific needle requirements or yarn suggestions, the yarn weights above are what I used to get the size I got (same with gauge), but you can use what ever you like.
I knit with two strands at the same time for this project to make the knitting thicker so it would hopefully hold its shape better and to make it stronger. This is completely optional you can use only one strand if you like.
