This is an easy adorable christmas stocking you can make and hang on the tree or use in place of a card for gift giving around the holidays. The stocking is big enough to fit a gift card inside or some small chocolates as well.

The yarn used is any worsted weight yarn that you can achieve gauge with. Other materials needed o make this ornament include a 6.5 mm crochet hook and a tapestry needle to weave in your ends. The stocking when finished is approximately 4” wide and 8” long.
I do encourage you to carry the yarn up the inside of the stocking as much as you can to avoid having to weave in so many ends. This pattern is written in US crochet terms.
