I started making bunnies last year- and various requests were made for different outfits- so bobble hat bunny was born. This ebook has the instructions for the rabbit and for the 3 different outfits. There is a full alphabet and set of numbers, so you can make the winter sweater personalised with an initial or age.

You can use any yarn as long as all your colours are the same yarn ‘weight’ or type- different weights of yarn will give different sizes. If you use double knit (USA light worsted) weight she will be about 6 inches (15cm) high and 6.5 inches (16 cm) wide. if you use chunky (USA bulky) it will be about 12 inches by 8 inches. I made the fluffy bunnies shown here using Robin Fleece- which gave a really snugly texture.

You will need main colour (about 100g ) and contrast (white or black) for foot pads and inner ears, as well as colours for the outfits. You also need some suitable wadding or other material to stuff the bunny. You could use polystyrene beads for the body if you want a more ‘bean bag’ style. You will also need toy eyes or buttons to use as eyes unless you would rather embroider these on.

This is a written pattern, in English, which also has quite a few photos to illustrate some of the stages. The pieces are ‘worked flat’ with seams rather than in the round.
