If you want to make a solid color version of this scrunchie, you can just purl all of the WS rows, and omit the color changes- so with this pattern you actually get 2 patterns!

I love the way this blue pops out against the white yarn. The white yarn I used is Knit Picks swish Worsted, and the blue is Big Twist classic.
