Bobble Stitch Tea Cosy
Bring some chintzy vintage joy to your morning brew with this delightful Crochet Tea cosy. It gives the look of the traditional Cornish pottery style. It can be made in many colour variations but I loved it in this pastel combination.A lovely project to make for home or a wonderful handmade gift.
The 15 page pattern is presented in a written step by step guide with illustrative photographs. Using 2 pastel coloured DK yarns in a traditional vintage Bobble stitch panel design. The side panels are created with stripes of beautiful bobble stitches. A liner is constructed to attach the panels giving extra cosiness for your teapot. The cosy is finished with a floral pom pom on the top. The pom pom design can also be crafted into a delightful keychain and is explained in the pattern.
The tea cosy is lined so will keep your tea warm for longer.
The design will fit a 4-6 cup Teapot (1-1.2L) with added instructions to custom fit to a larger/ smaller teapot.
