Bobble Wrap is a large wrap/scarf in garter stitch and stripes of bobbles bringing interest to the garment, a sister shawl to the triangular Studs. Bobble Wrap is created for two 100g skeins and 7x10g mini skeins of 4-ply yarn, shown here in The Little Grey Girl Yak sock in Cloudesley grey together with the Grubby Prism rainbow minis. The finished shawl is a cosy wrap or wide scarf, bespeckled with bobbles like jewels. Knitted diagonally, extra length is gained from the pointy ends.

Yarn: The Little Grey Girl yak sock 4-ply,
70% SW merino, 20% Yak, 10% Nylon, 400m/100g
Main colour: approx. 740 m, colour Cloudesley (2x100g skeins)
Contrast colour: 7x10g minis in colour Grubby Prism A total of 250m of contrast yarn, the sample used 36m of each of 7 colours, assume each colour stripe takes an average of 2.5g.
Needles: 3.5 mm (US4)
Gauge: 21 sts /10 cm blocked garter stitch
Finished measurements: Wide wrap long side 189cm, width 50cm, the wrap will pull together somewhat with wear, the measurements are on the blocking mat.
