An intriguing Instagram photo caught my eye. After much searching, I discovered it was a close-up section of Alice Starmore’s “Otter” pullover from her book, Alice Starmore’s Glamourie. Inspired by the photo and while waiting for a copy of the book to arrive, I created my own version of a bobbled ridge and used it for this hat brim. The multi-layered tassel mirrors the colors in the ridges and adds some whimsy. Obviously, you can leave it off, but you really should try finger cord. It’s another great tool for your “knitting-know-how” toolbox.
