About
This #SizeInclusive everyday cardigan is made with Lion Brand Feels Like Butta and uses a ribbed stitch pattern to produce a beautifully textured layering piece. Worked in simple, back-and-forth rows, this pattern uses vertical and horizontal lines to bring visual interest to this otherwise basic piece. Finishing touches such as the collar and front pockets bring a comfortable, casual feel.

The original Body Language Sweater was released in the beginning of 2020 and is one of my most popular designs; one that seems to fit wonderfully on all shapes and sizes every time. Making your own clothes is empowering, allowing you to create pieces that perfectly fit your unique body measurements. This cardigan is designed with this in mind – to become a closet staple that you can easily adjust to fit your body and make you feel beautiful while you wear it.

Materials
Yarn: Lion Brand Feels Like Butta in Pale Grey.

  • 9 (9, 10, 11, 12) (12, 14, 14, 15) skeins
  • Or 1875 (1950, 2050, 2300, 2450) (2575, 2875, 3000, 3125) yds 1715 (1784, 1875, 2104, 2241) (2355, 2629, 2744, 2858) m of another worsted weight, category #4 yarn that matches gauge.

Hook: US F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: Tapestry needle, locking stitch markers to help with seaming

Yarn Note: Substitute Lion Brand Feels Like Butta with any similar worsted weight, category #4 yarn that matches gauge. You do not have to use a 100% polyester yarn - any fiber content will create a beautiful cardigan. However, for a similar look and feel to the sample shown, choose a 100% polyester yarn. (Other 100% polyester yarns can often be found in the baby section of the yarn aisles.)
