Bohemian Crochet Headband
This is a universal adult size, and I’ve modified the design so you can reduce the rows/amount of elastic needed to fit an older child/young adult - both sizes are included in the pattern. I was able to get about 5 headbands from 1 ball of yarn and 1 swatch of elastic. Not bad!
The stitches are very basic and easy, but the way the yarn thickness ebbs and flows from heavy to light, can make it difficult for a beginning crocheter to work with. However, those inconsistencies add a certain character and depth to it, and since the yarn is made from recycled wool and cashmere, it just lends to why I call it “Bohemian.” I chose the easier stitches to correspond with and balance out the yarn. The result is a chunky, funky looks that’s very stylish.
