The ruffle top is knitted in stockinette stitch from the bottom up.
The ruffle skirt is knitted in the round. The middle pieces are knitted back and forth.
After knitting the middle pieces – front and back - you pick up sts along the middle pieces which are subsequently knitted together with the side pieces.
The armholes are knitted in the round and finally the ruffles on the bodice are knitted.
