Boho Vest is a short bolero that stands out for its roosimine motifs and beadwork, combining texture with a subtle shimmer. Its aesthetic adds character and a special touch to any outfit.

Crochet hook for beading US 14/10 – 0.75 mm, crochet hook for provisional cast on US 7 – 4.5 mm, row counter (recommended), stitch marker, tapestry needle, waste yarn or 1 stitch holder, scrap yarn.

Gauge
18 sts x 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm. Measured over Stockinette stitch after blocking, worked flat with N1 and C1.

Notes
It has worked seamlessly from the top down. It begins with the back using a provisional CO, where German short rows are used to shape the shoulders. Once the armholes are formed, the back is placed on hold, and the fronts are worked separately from the same provisional CO. When both fronts are complete, they are joined with the back, and the body continues to be worked flat. For a refined finish, the vest features a two-colour I-Cord edging. Special Techniques used include roosimine, German short rows, and beads applied with a crochet hook.
