☀️ Desert colors, and the yarn does the colorwork

This knit cowl mimics the colors and shapes of the desert. It’s Fair Isle with only two strands, and the gradient yarn takes care of the color changes for you.

It’s a great first step into knit colorwork, with written instructions, a chart and color block instructions included. Prefer crochet? There’s a crochet version too.

✨ What makes it work

• Only two strands. The gradient yarn handles the color shifts.
• Three ways to follow. Written, chart or color block instructions.
• In the round. Stockinette worked in the round with the Fair Isle technique.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Chroma Fingering, WeCrochet (fingering, 396 yds/100g), about 220 yds total. Colors shown: Sedona and Grey
• Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) circular needles
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers · Yarn Needle · Scissors

• Size: One size, 10” wide x 9” tall
• Skill level: Intermediate
• Gauge: 24 sts and 27 rows = 4” x 4” in stockinette
