This vest works up quickly: Top-down, bulky yarn, mostly Stockinette stitch. Build-in beautiful yarn color play. Minimal finishing.

The neckline and the hem feature a simple eyelet border that holds the decorative suede leather ties.

A great project for knitters who live in warmer climates, but still like to occasionally work with and wear bulky yarns.

“One size fits many” … I (model) am a size 43” and it fits me with no ease. The measured width of the vest is 19”, which is a size S/M. For size S/M, the vest would close in the front.

Please note that the suede cords also allow to adjust the width of the neck opening and the waist.

You will need:
3 balls Berroco Coco in 4912 “Prairie” or color of your choice
4 x 60” of suede lace (for example Hobby Lobby Suede Lace, 3mm x 25 yds, in “Toast”)
