> Bolting

Bolting
Stockinette and reverse stockinette bands form wide horizontal strips for a textural fabric. Yarn overs at 5 different locations create little lighting bolt motifs and the added stitches result in a large expansive fabric.
Available in German here.
Finished Measurements: 79” / 201cm wingspan from tip to tip, 28” / 71cm along center point from CO to BO edges. Measurements taken after blocking.
Yarn: Worsted weight
Substituting fingering or lace weight yarns will result in an equally nice and thinner fabric.
Yardage: 1,080yds / 988m
Working less repeats of the pattern will use less yardage for a smaller version.
Needles: 40” US 7 / 4.5mm circular
Notions: 10 stitch markers, tapestry needle
Gauge: 19 sts & 25 rows = 4” / 10cm in stockinette stitch
