Pattern is rated: Intermediate

The Base of the Hood is worked double stranded
Gauge for Hood: Double stranded with L (8mm) hook 7 hdc =3.25”, 6 rows = 3.5”

I added a bonus hood style in Adult & Child size at the end of the pattern for the people who prefer the hood flat in the back (same hood style as The Twisted Bunny).

Hood Size Adult: When folded in half (not including the triangle) the hood is 11.25“ wide & 16” long before front slant.

Hood Size Child: When folded in half (not including the triangle) the hood is 10“ wide & 14” long before front slant

Worsted Weight(4), Caron One Pound, White=440-550 yds

• L hook (8mm) Or size needed to obtain gauge
• G hook (4mm)
• I hook (5.5mm)
• C hook (2.75mm)
• Scissors
• Yarn or tapestry needle
• Small amount of stuffing for Snake
• Stitch markers
• Sewing pins
• 12mm safety eyes (optional for snake)
• Optional: Styrofoam head (very useful when sewing pieces on), embroidery needle or paint for eye
