This V-neck cardigan has a seamless top-down construction and contiguous sleeves. The color I chose makes me think of the mystical forests of Ireland full of fairy creatures. I named it Bonnie Erin as this beautiful name comes first to my mind when I think of Ireland.
Mostly it is knitted in stockinette stitch, with a wide stripe of lace pattern on the back. If you like, and if you take your time to weave in ends very carefully (or use a felted joint when adding a new ball of yarn), you can make it reversible.
Back and front are visually separated by mock-seams – lines of two purl stitches if worn right side out respectively two knit stitches if worn wrong side out.
