Framed by knitted flowers this bonnet is definitely for a baby girl. It is knitted in the round and with short rows, and is entirely without seams. The only sewing is to sew in ends.

An adventurous beginning knitter should be able to knit this pattern, or at least that was the opinion of my test knitters, some of whom were beginning knitters.

The bonnet pictured was knitted with Mini Mochi ‘Ice Strawberry’ fingering weight yarn, 28 sts/4” and used 60, 70 and 85 yds for the 3 sizes.
