Book Lover’s Mitts DK is the pattern that can be worked with fingering weight yarn held double for beautiful marled effect, or with DK weight yarn. Variation with the folded top gives a warmer option for those cold and windy days when your fingers need extra warmth.

Skill level - advanced beginner.

Gauge
22 sts / 24 rnds per 4” / 10 cm knitted in stockinette st with bigger size N after washing and blocking.

Mitt Sizes
1 (2, 3) for hand circumference
7 (7.5, 8)” / 17.7 (19, 20.3) cm.

Needles
Size US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles with at least 32” / 81 cm cable each for working Magic Loop,
or a set of 5 DPNs of each size.
