This is a listing for a hand knit scarf pattern. If you love knitting lace, and very feminine accessories, you’ll love making this scarf. It is a famous old lace stitch that isn’t quite as difficult as it looks, but certainly makes you look like an expert knitter. The panels allow you to show off your knitting prowess, while the turtleneck section will keep you warm. Nor is it heavy, as it’s made with dk weight yarn. The placement of the stitches gives the bottom of the scarf a slight scallop, but the sides, a much more pronounced scallop, lending to it’s lacy leaf-ness. It does need to be fairly aggressively blocked to show off the lace and hold it’s shape. The pattern does include instructions for an optional edging.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, purling and YO’s)

The sample shown here was knitted with Lorna’s Laces Honor yarn in colorway, Satsuma.
