“All forests have their own personality…. A voice speaks up when you enter their acres that can’t be mistaken for one you’d hear anyplace else, a voice true to those particular tress, individual rather than of their species.”
― Charles de Lint, The Onion Girl

This is a pattern for a top down knit, with a circular yoke, and using the Fair-Isle colourwork technique. This sweater has a generous fit and may be worn with 4 - 12 in/10 - 30.5 cm positive ease.

This pattern may, also, be worked using the alternate sizing instruction for a more standard fit on a more traditional and general man shape. Please see schematic (included in the images to the left) for all approximate finished sizes (sizes 1-3 have different chest and upper arm circumferences).
