These mittens are knit in the round using stranded colourwork from the cuff to the tip.

The instructions and charts are included for a left and right mitten.

Sizing:
Fits an adult hand.
8 inches around the palm.
7 inches long from the top of the cuff to the tip.
9.5 inches total length.

The size of the mittens is determined by the gauge, and can be altered by changing the needle size or yarn thickness. Going up a needle size or using a slightly heavier worsted weight yarn will give you a larger mitten.

Yarn:
Worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colours.

Main colour (MC): 109-130 yds, 60 grams.

Contrast colour (CC): 109 yds, 50 grams.

Needles:
US #5 / 3.75mm circular needle for magic loop or double pointed needles.

Gauge:
30 sts and 30 rounds / 4” in stockinette stitch.
