“Bori” means barley in Korean. Bori Tea Cardigan is a drop-shoulder cardigan featuring an all-over stitch pattern shaped like barley ears.
Perfect for cool summer evenings, it provides light warmth against chilly air conditioning and can be worn comfortably through the transitional seasons. The sample was knit in Oatpaper Double, a blend of cotton and Korean paper fibers. Similar results can be achieved with a cotton yarn blended with linen or other paper fibers.

Construction
(Top down)
(Charts + Written Instructions) This pattern is worked by following both the charts and written instructions together.

The back is worked using with German short rows. Stitches are then picked up at the shoulders to work the fronts, while shaping the V-neckline. The fronts and back are joined to work the body in one piece. Before working the hem, another set of German short rows is worked across the fronts to help prevent the front hem from riding up over the bust during wear.

After the body is complete, the button band is worked. Stitches are then picked up around the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the button band to work the collar.

Since the collar is worked after the body and sleeves are finished, it can be omitted if desired. You may also add the collar for a more distinctive and charming look.
Choose between two collar widths, approximately 9 cm (3½“) or 10 cm (4”).

구성

독일식 경사뜨기 기법을 사용하여 뒤판을 뜬 뒤, 어깨에서 코를 주워 브이넥 라인을 만들며 앞판을 뜹니다. 이어서 앞판과 뒤판을 연결하여 몸통을 뜨고, 밑단 무늬를 뜨기 전 한 번 더 앞판 부분에 경사뜨기를 합니다. 이를 통해 착용 시 가슴 부위로 인해 앞판이 상대적으로 짧아 보이는 현상을 완화합니다.

몸통을 마무리한 후 버튼 밴드를 뜨고, 암홀에서 코를 주워 원형뜨기로 소매를 완성합니다. 마지막으로 버튼 밴드에서 코를 주워 칼라를 뜹니다.

브이넥 가디건으로 먼저 완성한 뒤, 원한다면 칼라를 추가할 수 있도록 구성했습니다. 칼라는 취향에 따라 생략해도 좋으며, 달면 한층 개성 있고 사랑스러운 분위기를 더할 수 있습니다. 너비는 약 9cm 또는 10cm 중 원하는 너비를 선택해 뜨면 됩니다.
