Born This Way Shawl

This simple top-down triangular shawl will wrap you in warmth and style. It uses approximately 875 yards of Fingering weight yarn to create a large, casual, shawl. Wear is draped casually over your shoulders or wrapped elegantly for a night out!

Its elegant design and mirroring repeats are easily memorized making this project ideal for newer knitters, experienced knitters looking for a simple project, knit alongs, and of course knit night!

“Don’t hide yourself in regret, just love yourself, and you’re set”

A note about gauge:
The lacework in this piece is both simple and forgiving. I tend to be a loose knitter so a size 6 needle for the fingering weight yarn worked best for me. Gauge is more about preference in this shawl than accuracy. Just be sure to leave yourself enough yarn at the end of the garment to incorporate a few garter rows to help it lay nice and flat.
