Boss.
This is The Boss. A commanding, yet intriguing open gauge lace top, with V-neck and integral short sleeves. It is knitted flat in 2 pieces (front and back) from the bottom up, then seamed together. The hemline, the neck line and sleeve ribbings are picked up, then worked in the round using circular needles.
Sizing & Fitting
To fit sizes: XS (30”) / S (34”) / M (38”) / L (42”) / 1XL (46”) / 2XL (50”) / 3XL (54”).
This garment is designed to be worn loosely around the waist and shoulders with about 1” to 2” (2.5cm to 5cm) of ease. The hemline ribbing is designed to sit firmly on the area between the high hip and full hip. Lace patterns have a tendency to appear small once off the needles, yet expand considerably when wet, so please allow for some amount of reshaping to be done at the blocking stage.
Yarn & Tools
DK weight yarn - XS: 500yds (450m) / S: 630yds (576m) / M: 710yds (650m) / L: 780yds (713m) / 1XL: 805yds (736m) / 2XL: 870yds (795m) / 3XL: 935yds (855m)
6.5mm (US 10.5) straight needles (or size required to get gauge) and 4.5mm (US 7) 80cm (32”) or longer circular needles, 8 x stitch markers + 4 removable stitch markers, measuring tape and yarn needle for weaving in and seaming up. Optional: crochet hook for provisional cast on.
